Two-day time travel to the heart of ancient P\u00e9cs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer, the world of antiquity will come to life again in the historic centre of P\u00e9cs: on 29 and 30 August 2025, the Roman Festival - Sopianae - Revived<\/strong>! which takes visitors on an exciting journey through time to the heart of the Roman city. The two-day event aims to bring the architectural heritage, culture, religious diversity and everyday life of late Roman Sopianae - today's P\u00e9cs - closer to today's audiences through interactive experiences, traditional programmes, theatre performances, gastronomic workshops and spectacular parades.

The Festival of the Zsolnay Heritage Management Nonprofit Ltd., the Sopianae Reviviscit <\/strong>and the Mediator Association <\/strong>in cooperation with the #RomansWineDanube - Marketing framework for sustainable cultural tourism development <\/em><\/strong>project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme, is \"Roman Emperors and the Danube Wine Route\"<\/strong> The route crosses ten countries, bringing together 23 sites and 12 wine regions, which the 13 consortium partners aim to promote and develop over the 30 months of the project. This summer, Rome and wine festivals will be held in 9 different locations. The partners will take part in each other's events with traditional groups and by presenting their own wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
