The secrets of ancient craftsmanship come to life in the Macellum's workshops

Visitors can not only watch but also try out the techniques used in the past. You can take home the objects you have made.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required due to the limited number of participants.

Occupations:

15:00 – 17:00 

Wreaths of laurel and flowers / With the help of Gabriella Gulyás, traditional Roman headdresses are made from plant materials - for boys and girls alike.

Roman dressmaking / Making period tunics and costumes with Dorottya Kanics - even with your own materials.

15:00 – 19:00 

Toy soldiers and jewellery / Aluminium casting in Blanka Gajcsi's workshop - a piece of history you can take home.

Vegetal painted canvas / Under the guidance of Mara Szipl, they make cushions and toys from natural materials using traditional techniques.

Ceramics workshop / Contemporary clay pot moulding and decoration led by Virág Márfi.

Toy Workshop / The Take My Hand Foundation is making wind chimes and other toys from natural materials - for all ages.

17:00 – 19:00 

Roman perfumes and balms / Illatműhely-bemutató és balzsamkészítés Gyurokovics Zitával (Mar Galliti) és aromavíz-workshop Amrein Ildikóval (Arura) – ahol mindenki elkészítheti saját római kozmetikumát.
