SHAPING CONFIDENCE
AND DIVERSITY
The 13th edition of the Training Academy on Cultural Routes will take place in Pécs, Hungary and Osijek, Croatia, from 2 to 5 June 2026, organised by the European Institute of Cultural Routes and the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route, in close cooperation with Zsolnay Heritage Management Nonprofit Ltd. in Hungary and the Tourism Board of Osijek-Baranja County in Croatia.
The Informal Contact Group of cultural routes provides guidance and support in the programme development by representing the concerns of cultural routes, including the experiences of the former Task Force of cultural routes.
The Academy is hosted by the Roman Emperors and Danube Wine Route, a Council of Europe route since 2015.
The 2026 edition of the Training Academy will be dedicated to “Shaping Confidence and Diversity”. The event will be held in English.
Participation is limited to representatives of the 49 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe only. A dedicated invitation containing the link to access the registration form will be sent to certified Cultural Routes presidents and managers. Each route can select up to 2 (two) representatives to attend the event.
Despite being an invitation-only event, the proceedings of the Training Academy will be disseminated on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe website following the event for all interested stakeholders.
